Physiotherapist
Andy Ireland graduated from Teesside University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Distinction) in 1993.
​
He began his career within the NHS, where he worked until 2000, developing his expertise in orthopaedics and outpatient care. During this time, he treated a wide range of spinal conditions, sports injuries, and complex musculoskeletal disorders.
​
In 2003, Andy completed a Master’s degree in Neuromusculoskeletal Physiotherapy at University College London, graduating with distinction. Following this, he was appointed Lead Physiotherapist for the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) at the UK’s National Tennis Centre. In this role, he advanced his skills in injury prevention, biomechanical analysis, and performance rehabilitation, and served for several years as Physiotherapist for the British Davis Cup and Fed Cup teams. Andy also represented British Tennis as Physiotherapist at the 2008 Beijing and 2012 London Olympic Games.
From 2007 to 2013, Andy worked and travelled on the ATP World Tour as Personal Physiotherapist to Andy Murray, supporting his performance and recovery at the highest level of professional sport.
Now working in private practice, Andy draws on over 30 years of experience treating a broad spectrum of clients — from private individuals to elite athletes. He combines a deep understanding of injury management, biomechanics, and rehabilitation with a professional and compassionate approach to patient care.
